Tattoo Removal

Our Q-Switched ND YAG laser is the latest and most advanced technology to date for tattoo removal. A consultation & patch test is required prior to any sessions being carried out.

Tattoo ink particles are too large for the body’s immune system to remove naturally. When tattoo pigment is injected into the lower layers of the skin (dermis) it becomes locked away by a wall of collagen fibres.

Q-switched ND YAG laser produce very short bursts of high energy laser light, this works by breaking up the tattoo ink into tiny particles, the body then disposes of these fragments through the lymphatic system reducing pigmentation in the tattoo after each session.

 

Typically 8-15 sessions can be required at 6-16 week intervals for maximum results.
